Manipulating Fabrics, Altering their Structure to Re construct a new surface was acheived through this Design Project.
The interdependence, seam less blending of things into one another, the overlapping in nature acts as an inspiration. The colour Palette represents two ends of the colour continuum of nature, from fresh to stale, dry and dead.

FABRIC SURFACE
Soft, limp fabric with loose airy weave- gauze, dyed in the colour palette was the chosen material for explorations.
Crumpled and treated with caustic soda, left the fabric both dense and sparse at once. Perforations, tucks, layering, hand stitching and starch treatment to hand dyed Gauze gave the desired effect.
